    Do I have to move everything at once?
    No. accountant.guru is modular — start with the one app that hurts most (say the Betriebskostenabrechnung, or your VAT) and add the rest when you're ready.
    Can I switch over from Excel, lexoffice or DATEV?
    Yes. We import what we can — bank statements, customers, opening balances — and set up your entity around your existing chart of accounts. We go through your specific data on the call.
    What does it cost?
    The core is free — general ledger, receivables and payables cost nothing. You add apps, users and usage per entity; the full price list and example setups are in the Pricing section above. Monthly, excl. VAT, no setup fee, cancel anytime.
    What counts as an "entity"?
    An entity is one set of books — your company, a client you keep books for, or a WEG/property you manage. Pricing is per entity, so if you run several, each is priced on its own; users and usage are counted per entity too.
    Is it built for German accounting?
    Yes — real double-entry with subledgers, your own chart of accounts, and UStVA and ZM filed straight to ELSTER. The interface is German and English.
    Is it GoBD-compliant?
    It's built for GoBD-compliant bookkeeping: posted documents are locked (Festschreibung) and corrected only by reversal — never edited or deleted — every booking carries a timestamp and user, changes are logged, and there's a GoBD/Z3 data export for the tax audit.
    How is my data handled?
    Each client runs in its own separated environment. We go through hosting, backups and your security requirements together on the call.
