Last updated: August 1, 2026. This statement describes how personal data is processed on this website under the GDPR (DSGVO) and the German TTDSG.
1. Controller
The controller for processing on this site is named in the Impressum (Groeschke Consulting UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Innungsweg 9b, 46562 Voerde; info@accountant.guru).
2. Hosting & server logs
The site is hosted by GoDaddy.com, LLC (USA). When you visit, the provider automatically processes technical data your browser sends (IP address, date/time, requested page, referrer, browser/OS) in server log files, which is necessary to deliver the site securely and reliably (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest). A data-processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with GoDaddy; where data is transferred to the USA in this context, this is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Logs are kept for 12 months and then deleted.
3. Cookies & consent
Without your consent we set only strictly necessary cookies — to remember your language, your cookie choice, and (if you sign in) your session. On your first visit a banner lets you choose "Necessary only" or "Accept all". Analytics and the third-party tools below load only after you click "Accept all" or actively use them (§25 TTDSG). You can withdraw or change your choice at any time by clearing this site's cookies and local storage.
4. Contact / enquiry form
If you submit our enquiry form, the data you provide (e.g. name, e-mail, company, message) is processed to answer your request and to follow up about our services (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) pre-contractual steps and/or Art. 6(1)(a) consent). It is stored in our systems and kept for 12 months unless a legal retention duty applies. The publication of contact data in the Impressum for unsolicited advertising ("spam") is expressly not permitted.
5. Appointment booking — Calendly (USA)
To book a call we use Calendly (Calendly LLC, USA). The widget loads only when you click "Book a call." Calendly then processes the data you enter (name, e-mail, appointment details) and technical data including your IP address on servers in the USA. Legal basis: your consent by starting the booking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); the US transfer is based on appropriate safeguards (EU Standard Contractual Clauses / the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). See calendly.com/privacy.
6. Analytics — Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics (USA)
Only after you choose "Accept all" do we load Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC, USA). These set cookies and process technical and usage data, including your IP address, and may transfer it to the USA. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; §25(1) TTDSG); the US transfer is based on appropriate safeguards (the EU-US Data Privacy Framework / EU Standard Contractual Clauses). You can withdraw consent at any time (see section 3). See policies.google.com/privacy.
7. Web fonts
Web fonts (the "Inter" typeface) are self-hosted on our own server. No data is transmitted to Google or any other third party in order to display fonts.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21). Where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. Contact info@accountant.guru to exercise these rights. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — for North Rhine-Westphalia, the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit NRW (ldi.nrw.de).
9. Data security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including TLS/HTTPS encryption, to protect your data. Please note that transmission over the Internet can never be completely secure.
